A web/app based remote consultation solution, with EHR Integration

Targeted at the USA market, Carenection wishes to solve some key issues when it comes to medical consultations.

​

The distance between clinics & homes is fairly large in numerous areas across the USA. The time & effort required for travelling creates a major inconvenience, specially when one is in need of medical attention. With our lives getting busier, it becomes even more difficult to accommodate time required to go to a clinic in person. Typically, after the first consultation (or sometimes even in the case of the first consultation) a physical examination is not required, thereby eliminating the necessity of physical presence.

The other challenge for most people is to find the right specialist for the ailment they have. Even after figuring out the appropriate specialty, there is hardly enough data available to make the right choice on the specialist.

 

Considering these challenges, we worked with our client to create a well-rounded solution that could address these issues holistically.

PROCESS

IDEATION

Guided by the insights from the research phase, we began churning out ideas for features in our service. We also figured out how these features could work together in a flow as a consolidated system.

RESEARCH

Given the short timeline of this project, there was scope only for secondary research. We studied various blogs/articles written about this subject & also studied all other companies & products that are operating in the same space. The interesting part was to read the reviews of all these products, which gave us deeper insights about what works & what doesn't.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE

With the features filtered & finalized, we began creating the information architecture for the application. The information architecture really helps in organizing the features/sections/data & serves as the first step towards the wireframes.

We began creating the final screens & flows for the application. Clarity of features & simplicity of flows was the utmost priority.

WIREFRAMING
VISUAL DESIGN

The key task for the visual design phase was to represent the brand essence & create a feeling of trust & comfort in the service. The color palette & the fonts were chosen carefully to achieve this goal.
